Yes, renters’ insurance is required before you move in at the property. You can either go through our preferred insurance company, Foxen, or use your own third-party insurance. We do have requirements for the insurance policy. These requirements will be sent to you prior to move-in.
At Stanford Place Apartments, we do a criminal background check and credit check on all applicants at the property. We have a pass or fail system through our third-party screening company that links with our property management software. There are times where we will accept conditional approval. A guarantor can be one of your parents, aunt, uncle, older sibling, etc. All residents go through a background screening and guarantors go through a credit check. The income requirement for a guarantor is 4 times the monthly rental amount. Your guarantor is not needed in person to sign your lease, we can send the paperwork to guarantors electronically. Not everyone will need a guarantor, but some will if they do not have the income on their own to qualify. Since some residents are full-time students, a guarantor is needed to get your lease agreement approved.
Yes, you can sign a lease agreement with a guarantor if you do not meet the monthly income requirement. Guarantors are required to make 4 times the monthly rental amount at Stanford Place Apartments. Please contact the leasing office for more information.
Once someone applies, expect 3-5 business days on the approval of the rental application.
We offer 7-to-14-month lease terms. Your leasing professional can go over the available lease terms.
This information is covered in the lease agreement. Per the lease, we require a 60-day notice to vacate in writing. The termination fee is 2x the monthly rent. This amount is due 5-days after you submit your notice to vacate. Please keep in mind that you are still responsible for your rental payments and utilities until the 60-days is up. Please contact the leasing office for more details.
The resident is responsible for electricity, gas, and internet/cable on their own. Electricity is through Ameren, gas service is through Spire, and your internet provider will be AT&T or Spectrum. We will need your Ameren and Spire account numbers before moving in.
Your apartment home will be made move-in ready, and we will ensure all appliances are properly working. After a resident moves in, they will complete a move-in inspection form and return that into the leasing office within five days of taking possession of the apartment.
Parking is first come, first served and there is no additional fee. We do have parking garages available for lease, you may contact the leasing office for more information.

Yes, we allow pets with no breed or weight restrictions. We only allow 2 pets per apartment unless authorized in writing. Once someone applies, we use a third-party pet screening company for details on your animal. There is a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet. There is monthly pet rent of $25 per pet each month.
We do not have a model at Stanford Place Apartments. We do have available apartments that are move-in ready that we can show. We also have floor plans, photos, and other information available on our website.

We do not currently offer any furnished apartments. All units include appliances such as garbage disposal, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and microwave.

Yes, we are conveniently located close to many shopping and dining establishments. On Manchester Rd. You will find Walgreens, Schnucks, Dierberg’s and multiple gas stations, a Starbucks and other restaurants/dining. We are also close to The Galleria Mall, Whole Foods, Target, Ulta and Trader Joes!
